Why We Don't Charge Per-User Fees

The standard VoIP industry practice is to bill per user per month — usually $15 to $30 per seat. We don't.

Here's why:

• Adding employees shouldn't multiply your phone bill. Growing from 5 to 15 people shouldn't triple your monthly cost when the underlying system is the same.
• Hiding fees in seat counts is confusing. Per-user bills become unpredictable when staffing changes, and most providers charge extra for users who are only occasional callers.
• It rewards the wrong things. Per-user billing rewards providers for selling you more seats; we'd rather earn your business by making the existing system work well.
